Chico & the Gypsies
Chico & the Gypsies is a French musical formation of rumba catalana, flamenco and Latin pop and rock tunes led by Chico Bouchikhi, who was one of the founders of the Gipsy Kings. After he left the Gypsy Kings for differences with the band, he formed Chico and the Gypsies in 1992. In September 2012 Chico & the Gypsies celebrated twenty years' success. France 2 channel TV show Vivement Dimanche which airs on Sundays, celebrated with them by airing a special show on Sunday 15 September 2012. The Vivement Dimanche show was a double celebration because host Michel Drucker also celebrated his seventieth birthday on 12 September 2012. [1]
