Niiyama was married to baseball player Satoshi Kuroda (é»’ç”°å“²å² Kuroda Satoshi). They have a daughter named Koharu Niiyama (æ–°å±± å°æ˜¥ NÄ«yama Koharu) (born July 12, 2006).
