Chilorhinophis carpenteri, or the Liwale two-headed snake, is a species of venomous snake in the Atractaspididae family.[1]
Geographic range
It is endemic to Africa and is found in Mozambique and southeastern Tanzania.[2]
Taxonomy
It was originally named Parkerophis carpenteri.
Etymology
The specific name, carpenteri, honors the type specimen's collector, Geoffrey Douglas Hale Carpenter.[3]
