Chimdi Chekwa (born September 7, 1988) is an American football cornerback who is currently a free agent. He played college football at Ohio State. He was drafted by the Raiders in the fourth round in the 2011 NFL Draft[1] where he played 32 games with 4 starts. He was signed by the New England Patriots on March 12, 2015. He would be released by the team on May 18, 2015.[2] Chekwa re-signed with the Raiders on May 19, 2015.

College career

As a senior in 2010, Chekwa was named a first team All-American by the FWAA and College Football News.[3][4]
