China Shipping (Group) Company is shipping conglomerate under the direct administration of the State Council of the People's Republic of China. It is headquartered in Shanghai. It is mainly engaged in shipping of oil tankers, passenger ships and container vessels. Other related businesses include ship and Terminal management, finance and investment, engineering, human resources, trading and information technology.
China Shipping Group now holds three listed companies, China Shipping Development A share and H share, China Shipping Container Lines A share and H share, and China Shipping (Hainan) Haisheng A share, which are both traded in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the Shanghai Stock Exchange.[1]
