She is the best known for her role of Jaz Romero in the Cris Morena Group series Casi Ángeles and as a member of its group Teen Angels.

Career

She started as a child model when she was six, and a photographer saw her while walking in a square next to her mother. Suárez made her acting debut in the television series Rincón de Luz (2003), created by Cris Morena.[1]

A year later, she had a small role in teelevision series Floricienta, also created by Morena. She also had recurring roles in Amor Mío and Amo de Casa followed in 2005 and 2006.

In 2007, Suárez landed the role of Jazmín "Jaz" Romero in Morena's series Casi Ángeles, which achieved international success.[2][3] She also became a member of successful music group Teen Angels, along with Casi Ángeles co–star Lali Espósito, Nico Riera, Gastón Dalmau and Peter Lanzani. She left Teen Angels in 2011 due to personal reasons and was replaced by castmate Rochi Igarzábal.

In 2011 she entered the cast of Los unicos, in El Trece, starring alongside Mariano Martinez, Nicolas Cabre Nicolas Vazquez and Griselda Siciliani. She took part in the series until 2012, in the second season. She worked later alongside Nicolas Pauls in the miniseries of Cosmopolitan,[4] 30 días juntos.

Personal life

Suárez was born to Guillermo Suárez and Marcela Riveiro in Buenos Aires; she had a Japanese maternal grandmother, Marta Mitsumori born in Kochi Prefecture. When she turned seventeen, Suárez left home in order to pursue a career in acting.[6]

From 2012 to 2013, Suárez dated her Los únicos co-star Nicolás Cabré.[7] Their relationship raised a significant controversy as Cabré had divorced from his wife shortly before.[8] The couple welcomed a daughter, Rufina, on 18 July 2013.[9]
