Chinese nationality
Chinese nationality may refer to the nationality or the right to carry a passport of a number of areas:
- Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China, the law which defines who is or may become a PRC national.
- HKSAR passport, issued to PRC nationals with permanent residence in Hong Kong
- Macau SAR passport, issued to PRC nationals with permanent residence in the Macau
- Nationality Law of the Republic of China, the law which defines who is or may become an ROC national. (Whether it is a part of Chinese nationality is under disputes, see political status of Taiwan and Taiwanization.)
Chinese nationality, more commonly in the plural form Chinese nationalities, may also be a term of reference to the various ethnic groups in China, individually or collectively (see Nation):
