Chinguacousy Park

Chinguacousy Park is a large park in Brampton, Ontario's Bramalea section. It is bounded by Queen Street East on the southeast, Bramalea Road on the northeast, and Central Park Drive on the north and west sides.[1]

It is colloquially known as Chinguacousy Park, but its formal name is Donald M. Gordon Chinguacousy Park.[2]

The park’s sport facilities include a curling facility, winterized tennis courts, beach volleyball courts, ski hill and new state of the art track and field. They also offer mini-putt golf, formal gardens and greenhouse, paddle boats, petting zoo and barn, splash pad and children’s playground, and a BMX/skateboard park.[3]

There are a variety of summer camps offered for children and teens at this park. They are offered through The City of Brampton Parks and Recreation Department.[4]

Booked park party packages are also available.[5]

The park is also host to annual carnivals.
