Chinnaiahgaripalli (CG Palli or Chinnai) is a small village in Mydukur Mandal, Kadapa District, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Overview

CG Palli is located 7 km northeast to Mydukur and it has a population of 1500. The main attractions in Chinnai is Mukkonda mountain. Mukkonda has Sivaalayam on top of it. Every year in kaarthikamasam (one of the months in Telugu calendar) final Monday village people will celebrate tirunala (festival) on this mountain. CG palli people are very interesting to participate in this tirunal and people will collect funds from all villagers to spend on tirunala. The way between Mukkonda and CG palli is very beautiful and it passes via fields, Yallampalli cheruvu (lake) and over Telugu ganga canal. CG palli is located in between Settivaripalli (north)and Yallampalli (south). CGpalli is belongs to Settivaripalli grama panchaiti. CG palli has one school up to 5th class, Ramalayam at the center of the CG palli, recently new temple constructed in this place, its big and so buautiful to see. CG palli people will go to Settivaripalli (up to 10th class) or Mydukur (Degree) for further studies. 90% of people in CG palli are depending on agriculture. Recently youth from CGPalli were decided to rebuild Ramalayam and collected nearly 500,000 Rs funds from people. Prodhutoor, Kadapa and Badwel are towns around the CG palli. People from CG palli will go to Prodhutoor for shopping like cloths and gold. Once upon a time CG palli people has small scale industry to mfg Blue color bars and export mainly to Chennai. They were manufacturing this Bule using NEELI AAKULU (blue leaves). When they started this business I do not know but they stopped this business nearly 60 to 70 (i.e. 1940) year back and also we can observe some debrice like big tubs near peddabhavi. In CG palli one family (Yessolla) has started business (1962 to 1977) i.e. assembling of Dielse Engines for pumping water from wells to cultivation. They imported parts from Chennai and assembled in CG palli. After test run they sold to farmers. They distributed this product up to Nellore Dis, Karnool dis and naturally in kadapa dis. Before 1962 CG palli farmers has used bulls to extract water from well it is called KAVELA. They were used leather bowl tied with rope passing over pulley (wooden) for extracting water.

nowadays CG Palli is the house for the well educated persons, CG Palli is well literacy rate compare to all villages around it.Every year peoples will gather for lot of festivals but all must attend for Mukkonda tirunala, anniversary of Ramalayam temple,and for Sankranti. Sankranti festival will celebrate colorfully and joyfully by gathering all people of the village without fail.
