Chiropsalmus quadrigatus is a species of box jellyfish in the Chiropsalmidae family and can be found in the waters around Malaysia.
Previously the classification Chiropsalmus quadrigatus was applied to the box jellyfish called "Habu-kurage" (ハブクラゲ) in Japanese that is found in Okinawa. The correct classification of that kind of box jellyfish is Chironex yamaguchii.
