Chishimba Kambwili is a member of the National Assembly of Zambia for Roan Constituency (Luanshya),[1] and held the office of Minister of Sports and Youth in the Cabinet of Zambia.

He was born in Luanshya where he subsequently completed his education. Kambwili is also National Youth Chairman for the Patriotic Front, which in September 2011 election became the ruling party in Zambia.

Kambwili was first appointed Minister of Foreign affairs however was then moved to Ministry of Labour, then Minister of Sports and Youth and now holds the position of the Minister of Information and Broadcasting Services. He is also the spokesperson of the current PF government and PF party.

On 24th April 2016, Kabwili announced through his facebook account that he had been bestowed with an Honorary Doctorate Degree from the California University FCE. In support of his new status, Doctor Kabwili also published photographs of him giving a speech in graduation gown. The California University FCE, whose website is http://www.cufce.org, is registered as an NGO in the United States that is not qualified to award any degree.
