Chloe Jones (nee Melinda Dee Jones, June 17, 1975 – June 4, 2005) was an American pornographic actress.[6][3][1]

Early life and career

Melinda Dee Jones was born and grew up in Silsbee, Texas.[1] After graduating from Silsbee High School in 1994, she became a Playboy model and appeared in Vanity Fair, Hustler, and Swank.[1] Jones was the Penthouse magazine Pet of the Month[3] in April 1998, and she crossed over into adult movies in 2001.[3][4][1] Jones signed an exclusive contract with adult film company New Sensations, followed by another contract with Vivid Entertainment in February 2003.[5] Both associations were brief (her contract with Vivid lasted five months).[7] She retired from the adult industry in 2004.[3][1] Jones performed in around 18 films during this time.[3][1] Jones also worked as an escort[6][1] and, in March 2005, Jones sold a story to the National Enquirer claiming that Charlie Sheen was among her clients and had paid her $15,000 for oral sex on February 6, 2005.[8] Sheen's agent disputed the claim, stating that Sheen had not seen Jones since 1996.[9][10]

She appeared twice on The Howard Stern Show in 2003.[11]

Death

Jones died in 2005, two weeks before her 30th birthday. Her early death has been blamed on liver failure[3] caused by Vicodin use.[1] She was buried at Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery in Houston, Texas.[6][12][1]
