Choa Rajgan is a village of Gujrat District, Punjab, Pakistan in tehsil Sarai Alamgir. The population is more than 2,000 people. It is one of the biggest villages of Chib Rajputs. The majority of the inhabitants belong to the Raja caste, hence the village name.
The shrine of religious historical figure Baba Sain Alif is in Choa.
Literacy
About 32 percent people of the Choa Rajgan village are literate. There are two schools, of which one for boys and other one is for girls. Both of the schools are primary schools (up to 5 class). People obtain further education from the nearby city of Sarai Alamgir.majority is educated upto primary level. Only 15 to 20 persons are educated to garaduate and masters level. The well educated personalities are Prof.Saleem Raja,Dr.Amjad Bashir. Engineer Owais Saleem,Engineer Tahir Saleem,Khurram Bashir Raja,Farukh Bashir , Faisal Raja Dr.faisal Bashir Raja, Mr.Shahzad Raja,Arshad Raja,Raja Shabir,Kaiser Bashir raja and few other persons
Location
Choa Rajgan is 6 km away from the large town of Sarai Alamgir Town is surrounded by hilly areas locally called as "Pabbi". An old well is considered to be the center of the village which is called "Khhu" in local language.
