Chomino [xɔˈminÉ”] (German: Kummin) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Åšwierzno, within KamieÅ„ County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Åšwierzno, 11 km (7 mi) south-east of KamieÅ„ Pomorski, and 60 km (37 mi) north of the regional capital Szczecin.

Before 1945 the area was part of the German Province of Pomerania. Following World War II the native German populace was expelled and replaced by Poles. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
