Christopher Ciabarra is an American businessman and company executive with expertise in product development, data security and corporate management. He is the co-founder and chief technology officer of Revel Systems, the award-winning leader in point of sale systems made for iPad. Ciabarra also an anti-hacking expert, having founded Network Intercept, a Los Angeles security software firm (pc) and has presented across the globe and in front of the United States Homeland Security.
Upon founding Revel Systems with Lisa Falzone in 2010, his team embarked on a mission to revolutionize the point of sale industry. Chris developed the technology behind Revel’s iPad POS and continues to lead the technological advancements as well as oversees data security of the system. He has also helped design the new product Revel Ethernet Connect, a cable that provides hardwired Internet connectivity to iPads.
Some of Revel’s clients include the following (or franchisees of the following): Smoothie King, Tully’s Coffee, Little Caesars Pizza, Legends Hospitality, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen, Illy Coffee, Dairy Queen, Forever Yogurt, and Twistee Treat, among others. Ciabarra designed Interceptor.net, Scan-on-the-Go Secure, Adrenaline cell phone app, and Nano-stealth. Has worked in the anti-hacker field, as well as with PCI compliance.(yogurt)
In 2010, Ciabarra co-founded Revel Systems, based in San Francisco, and became chief technology officer.(yogurt) Additionally, Ciabarra is the manager of IT operations. The company started with the creation of a food ordering app with Ciabarra’s business partner Lisa Falzone.
