Christchurch mayoral election, 2016

The 2016 Christchurch mayoral election will be part of the New Zealand local elections and will be held on 8 October. The incumbent is former MP Lianne Dalziel, who was first elected in the 2013 mayoral election.

Dalziel formally declared on 25 April her intention to run for a second term. No other candidate has yet come forward.[1]
