Christian Rado (born July 30, 1975 in Reading, Pennsylvania[1] ) is a professional racing driver from the United States.

He is chiefly notable for his partipication in import drag racing, previously piloting a factory backed Scion tC in the Pro FWD category in the NHRA Sports Compact series for his own team, WORLD Racing in addition to other series such as the NOPI Drag Racing Series and Battle of the Imports. In addition to this, Rado also partipicates in time attack events in a tC particularly in Global Time Attack (GTA) time attack and Super Street Super Lap Battles.[2]

History

Established in 1999 by Chris Rado, WORLD Racing and WORLD Motorsports are headquartered in Torrance, CA, with a second fully functioning facility in Reading, PA. Rado has been known as one of the leaders on the professional compact drag racing circuit, Chris has always been viewed as an innovator paving the way for others to follow. WORLD Racing employs a full-time team of motorsport professionals focused on the design, development and maintenance of the most competitive time attack program in North America.[3]

Taking track innovations to the consumer, WORLD Motorsports develops world-class performance parts for street applications. The Descendant brand developed by Chris Rado and WORLD Motorsports has become the #1 provider of after-market performance parts for the Scion brand.[4]
