Christina Hammer (born August 16, 1990 in Nowodolinka, Kazakh SSR[1]) is an undefeated German boxer World Champion. She grew up in Sontra and lives and trains mainly in Magdeburg.[2]

Career

Four times world boxing champion[3] Christina Hammer started at the age of 15 years with the sport of boxing, she was trained by Robert Staar. At the age of 16 she was German Junior Champion and joined shortly thereafter to the professional coach Dimitri Kirnos in Dortmund into the professional business.[4]

On 12 September 2009 she started her professional career with a fight against Melisa Koktar. In 2010 she was at 20 years of age the youngest WBO world champion against Teresa Perozzi in Riesa.[5] After her WBO title, Hammer won the WBF title on February 18, 2011 against Diana Kiss. Hammer defended 27 May 2011 their WBO WBF title against the Swede Maria Lindberg in 10 rounds. On 26 July 2014, she won the WBO light middleweight title against Anne Sophie Mathis by disqualification. Currently it stands at Sport Events Steinforth in Magdeburg under contract.
