Christoph Franz
Christoph Franz (born 2 May 1960 in Frankfurt) was Chief Executive Officer of Lufthansa until 1 May 2014 (replaced by Carsten Spohr). Franz joined Lufthansa in 1990. In 1994 he moved to German railway Deutsche Bahn. From 2004 until 2009 he was CEO of Swiss International Air Lines.[1] Since 1 January 2011 he is CEO of Deutsche Lufthansa AG as successor of Wolfgang Mayrhuber.[2] Franz will be from 1 May 2014 chairman of Swiss drug maker Roche.[3]
