Christy Baron is an American singer, songwriter, pianist, and actress originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.[2] She was exposed to music growing up through her mother who was a piano instructor and musician.[4]
Before college, Baron played in Pittsburgh clubs and later attended Carnegie Mellon University for music, dance, and drama.[4]
Baron has released five albums on Chesky Records. For her album, Take This Journey, Baron collaborated with bassist David Finck on production as well as writing and arranging the music.[4]
She has appeared on Broadway in Les Misérables, in several TV commercials, and also had a role in the 1998 film, Pants On Fire.[2][4]
