Chronic undermining burrowing ulcer

Chronic undermining burrowing ulcer (also known as Meleney gangrene, or Meleney's ulcer) is a cutaneous condition that is a postoperative, progressive bacterial gangrene.[1]:269 It is seen in immunocompromised individuals, mostly after post abdominal surgery and rapidly spreads to involve a large area.
