Chrysler Pacifica

The Chrysler Pacifica nameplate was used by Chrysler for a variety of vehicles. It was first used on a luxury minivan concept vehicle in 1999. From 2004 to 2008, it was used on a mid-size crossover. Since the 2017 model year, it has been used on the Town & Country minivan's replacement.

The Minivan Then & Now

The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is a newly developed minivan that was developed to take the place of the existing Chrysler Town & Country. Chrysler released their first minivan on November 2, 1983.[1] The minivan truly was a focus towards families looking for a convenient yet efficient vehicle. The Pacifica name was actually used for a crossover that was in production from 2004-2008. Chrysler decided to change the name of the Chrysler Town & Country to the Chrysler Pacifica because of the new name and purpose of the vehicle. The vehicle was produced to help create a family fun vehicle that is sleek and classy for the family. It is different from all of its competitors due to new technology and an new Hybrid that will be released sometime in the fall of 2016-2017.

The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica will range between $28,595 for an LX model to $42,495 for a Limited model.[2]
