The buff-spotted flameback (Chrysocolaptes lucidus) is a species of bird in the Picidae family. It is found on the Philippine islands of Bohol, Leyte, Samar, Biliran, Panaon, Mindanao, Basilan, and Samal. It is sometimes considered a subspecies of the greater flameback.
