Chuck Mondry

Chuck Mondry (AKA Charles Mondry) is an American screenwriter, born 1968, who has sold or developed many past and current high-profile, big-budget Hollywood features,[1] including Netflix's upcoming Death Note (2017), an American remake of the popular Japanese anime/manga, starring Nat Wolff and Margaret Qualley ;[2][3]

and Sony's Doc Savage (2019), a live-action movie adaptation to be directed by Shane Black, based on the pulp serial novels of the 1930's.[4] Mondry broke into the entertainment industry with a million dollar spec sale purchased by Columbia entitled "Tick Tock" (co-written with Anthony Bagarozzi)[5] and is a partner and co-owner of Modern Pictures, with Anthony Bagarozzi and Randi Nguyen, which produces independently financed features.[6]
