Charles Lester (Chuck) Nergard (born February 6, 1929) was an American politician in the state of Florida.
Nergard was born in Chicago in 1929, and moved to Florida in 1956. He attended Schurz Junior College, Wright Junior College, and George Williams College.[1]
As a Republican, he represented the 76th District encompassing St. Lucie County, Florida from 1967 to 1976 and from 1978 to 1990.[2]
He is married to Catherine Misheck, also of Chicago. They have two children.[1] During his time in the House, Nergard was also a part-time real estate agent. He is a member of the Sons of Norway organization and Elks Lodge, and is also a United States Air Force veteran. His religion was listed as Lutheran.[1]
