Church at Charlotte is an Evangelical Free Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, and a member of Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability. The church provides several venues, including 5:21 Saturday, Traditions, Sanctuary Live, Video Cafe, KidStuf and the newly created Colony Road, an Americana/Coffee Shop-take on worship. The church also provides an employment network twice a month in order to help the unemployed in Charlotte find jobs.

History

Church at Charlotte was founded in August, 1973. Since 1976, the church has been at its current location off Carmel Road. Jim Kallam Jr. has been the church's senior pastor since 1982.

In January 2009, under the direction of Church at Charlotte's Video Cafe Worship Pastor, Chuck Jones, members of the church set out with intent to write songs for the community, from the community. As more and more songs were finished, the decision to record the songs and put out a CD was made. On March 18, 2010, I Want a Faith was released.
