Cisthene subrufa is a moth of the Arctiidae family. It was described by Barnes and McDunnough in 1913. It is found in Arizona[1][2] and from San Benito, Texas south to Vera Cruz in Mexico.

The wingspan is 13–16 mm.[3] Adults have been recorded on wing in August.
