Citizens Bank of Maryland

Citizens Bank of Maryland was established on November 20, 1928.[1]

In 1982, it merged with Bank of Brandywine.[2]

On September 3, 1968, it changed its name to Citizens Bank and Trust Company of Maryland, then on July 1 1989, it changed it back to Citizens Bank of Maryland.[1]

On March 14, 1997, Citizens Bank of Maryland was acquired by Crestar Bank.[1]
