City Shrouded in Shadow is an upcoming video game for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.

Plot

The game is set in the fictional Ichi City in Japan, which is being beset by sinister shadows and giant monsters.[1] The player will be able to choose between either playing as a man called Ken Misaki or a woman called Miharu Matsuhara, with the objective being to try to escape the city.[2]

Development

The game was first announced on the 17th of September 2015. It is being developed by Granzella and directed by Kazuma Kujo.[3] Takashi Watabe is producing on behalf of publisher Bandai Namco.[4]

Ultraman was confirmed to appear in the game on 16 February 2016.[5] The Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu confirmed that Godzilla will appear in the game.[6] Godzilla had previously been teased by having his shadowy silhouette appear in screenshots.[7] Evangelion was also teased to appear.[8]
