The City of Edmonton Tower, also referred to as the Edmonton Tower,[6][7] is a 29-storey 129.84 metres (426.0 ft) tall, office building currently under construction in the Ice District area of Edmonton, Alberta. It is expected to open some time in late 2016[1] or early 2017.[2] In total it will have 3,716 square metres (40,000 sq ft) of retail space,[8] and over 48,000 square metres (520,000 sq ft) of office lease-able area.[4] It is Edmonton's fifth tallest building.[9]
Major tenants
The main tenants announced have been:
- City of Edmonton - Floor 3, and floors 5 to 19;[6] Opening with tower.[3]
- Kids & Company - Floor 4 for a child care centre; With a total area of 579 square metres (6,230 sq ft);[6] Opening with tower.[7][7]
- RBC Dominion Securities - Floors 23 and 24;[6] Opening 2018.[10]
