Clara Ottesen

Clara Ottesen (1911–1997) was a Norwegian economist and feminist.

She was President of the Norwegian Association for Women's Rights from 1968 to 1972. She succeeded Eva Kolstad and was succeeded by Kari Skjønsberg. She earned the cand.oecon. degree in 1938 and was employed as a civil servant in the central government administration. She was a member of the Executive Board of the European Movement in Norway and a board member of the International Alliance of Women from 1967 to 1973. She also served as a development expert in Bangladesh for the United Nations from 1962 to 1964.[1]
