Claudio Yacob (born 18 July 1987) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays for English club West Bromwich Albion, as a midfielder.

Career

West Bromwich Albion

On 24 July 2012, Yacob signed for Premier League club West Bromwich Albion.^[3] He made his Premier League debut against Liverpool. During his debut he was awarded man of the match.^[4] In a highly successful debut season, in which Yacob developed a strong midfield partnership with Youssouf Mulumbu, Yacob won the club's player of the month award for March 2013.^[5] On 10 July 2015, he signed a new two-year contract with the club keeping him at the Albion until Summer 2017.^[6]

Personal life

When not playing football, Yacob enjoys playing the guitar and painting. He also describes himself as a big fan of The Beatles and Adele.^[8]
