Claus Norreen (born 5 June 1970, Charlottenlund, Denmark) is a Danish musician and record producer known for being a part of the band Aqua, which sold around 33 million records.

Biography

When Mr. and Mrs. Norreen of Charlottenlund, Denmark gave birth to Claus, music was the last thing on their minds. In fact, music wasn't a very big part of life at all, say Mr. and Mrs. Norreen. Claus was to become a Chemical Engineer, and even went to University to learn about the trade. Claus picked up the art of playing the keyboard and would fool around with different song every now and then. The young boy who had no music in his childhood became an aspiring musician. Claus needed money to continue with his schooling, so he began to work at a garage in Denmark. There he met another young musician named Søren Rasted. The two became great friends and even entered to record the full soundtrack to a Danish children's movie. They won, and they got the need for a rapper. That's how Soren and Claus met René Dif, infact. The three men decided to create a little band!

In 2000, Claus Norreen married his long time girlfriend Siggy Madsen. They were married in an old Danish castle and all of the AQUA members were present to watch Claus and Siggy say their I-DOs...

AQUA announced that they would be taking a break in August of 2001. Later, they admitted that it was the end of AQUA. However, Claus and the others have all begun solo lives. Claus now lives in London with his wife, Siggy.

In 2002, Claus and Siggy announced that they were expecting a baby sometime in 2003.It was a son named Eliot.[1] He was born in February 2003. The couple have since separated.[2]
