Claxtonola Records
Claxtonola was a recording company doing business during the early 1920s. It was an independent company operating in Iowa City, Iowa, and reissued Paramount, Black Swan and Gennett Records masters on the Claxtonola and National labels.[1] The company's distribution area was small, and the label is not well known. Claxtonola also manufactured phonographs in the early years of the 20th century. It was reportedly acquired by Gennett Records in 1924.
