Clarence Alley Thompson IV Clay Thompson (born May 4, 1992 in (Venice, CA) is an American professional tennis player. Thompson attended Crossroads High School in Santa Monica, CA and later attended UCLA for 4 years. Thompson was the number 1 ranked NCAA singles player in the nation his senior year at UCLA. Thompson also won the CIF individual title his senior year representing Crossroads High School. Clay's playing style consists of big hitting and serve and volley. Thompson received a wildcard into the 2014 Hall of Fame Tennis Championships losing to Steve Johnson in the first round. Thompson's favorite ATP tournament in the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, CA. Thompson is currently without a coach but is under the supervision of CEO and founder of Men's Luxury Tennis Line UOMO SPORT, Steven Siebert.
