Clayton S. Rose, Ed.D is the fifteenth and current president of Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. Originally from San Rafael, California,[1] Rose graduated from the University of Chicago as an undergraduate in 1980 and with an M.B.A. in 1981 and from the University of Pennsylvania with an M.A. in 2005 and a Ed.D. in 2007.[2] He had previously served as a professor at Harvard Business School from 2007 until his appointment at Bowdoin.[3] Rose officially succeeded Barry Mills as president of Bowdoin on July 1, 2015.[4]
