Cluse
A cluse is a narrow mountain pass or gorge. Notable passes that have this as an element of their name in French are the Cluse de Pontarlier, Cluse de Gex, Cluse de Voreppe, and the Cluse des Hôpitaux in France.
Similar geographical features in the United States include the Cumberland Gap and the Columbia Gorge.
