Coalescent Technologies

Coalescent Technologies Corporation is/was a professional engineering firm that provides/provided sophisticated engineering products and services to the Department of Defense, federal agencies, and commercial clients.[1] Established in 1995, Coalescent is/was privately owned and operated with a corporate headquarters in the Winter Park, Florida / Orlando, Florida metroplex, most likely due to proximity to the military and civilian modeling, simulation and training (MS&T) activities of the Central Florida Research Park. They also maintain/maintained divisional offices in the Washington, D.C. and Maryland metro area; Atlanta, Georgia; and Panama City, Florida. They claim/claimed that their staff includes/included recognized leaders and performers in electrical and digital engineering, enterprise-level intranets, information technologies, and 3D virtual simulation and training.

Contractual data from U.S. Government databases would appear to indicate that the corporation liquidated in 2011.[2][3] As of October 2013, the corporate website is inactive and on line research indicates that the company may have shut down as a result of a combination of the 2008-2013 economic recession and reductions in U.S. defense spending for those support and training activities, products or programs not principally linked to operations in Southwest Asia during that time period. As of October 2013, the closest on line link to "Coalescent Technologies" is a "Limited" firm based in India.
