Coalition for Europe
Coalition for Europe (Spanish: Coalición por Europa, CpE) is a Spanish electoral list in the European Parliament election in 2014 and in 2009 made up from regionalist parties.
Its notable components in the 2014 list were:
- In Catalonia: Convergence and Union (Convergència i Unió)
- In the Basque Country and Navarre: Basque Nationalist Party (Partido Nacionalista Vasco/Euzko Alderdi Jeltzalea)
- In the Canary Islands: Canarian Coalition (Coalición Canaria)
- In Galicia: Compromiso por Galicia (Compromiso por Galicia)
In 2009 the list obtained a 5.1% of the votes and 2 seats. Its notable components in the 2009 list were:
- In Catalonia: Convergence and Union (Convergència i Unió)
- In the Basque Country and Navarre: Basque Nationalist Party (Partido Nacionalista Vasco/Euzko Alderdi Jeltzalea)
- In the Valencian Community: Valencian Nationalist Bloc (Bloc Nacionalista Valencià)
- In the Balearic Islands: Majorcan Union (Unió Mallorquina) and Minorcan Union (Unió Menorquina)
- In the Canary Islands: Canarian Coalition (Coalición Canaria)
- In Andalusia: Andalusian Party (Partido Andalucista)
It was the successor to the 2004 list Galeusca - Pueblos de Europa, but in 2009 did not include the Galician Nationalist Bloc.
The list won two seats in the 2009 elections.
