Cody Marshall Decker (born January 17, 1987) is an American professional baseball player in the Colorado Rockies organization. He has played for the San Diego Padres in Major League Baseball (MLB).

Career

Decker attended Santa Monica High School in Santa Monica and UCLA, and was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 22nd round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft.[1] In 2009, he was a Topps Short-Season Rookie All Star, Topps AZL Player of the Year, Topps Post-Season All Star, and AZL Most Valuable Player.[2] In 2010, he was an MiLB.com San Diego Organization All Star and MiLB.com Short-Season Best Hitter of the Year.[2] In 2012, he was twice Texas League Player of the Week.[2]

Decker made his Major League debut on September 14, 2015.

Decker signed with the Kansas City Royals on December 3, 2015. He was traded to the Colorado Rockies on April 20, 2016.
