Cohort (educational group)

For other senses of this word, see cohort (disambiguation).

A cohort is a group of students who work through a curriculum together to achieve the same academic degree together. Cohortians are the individual members of such a group.[1][2]

Cohorts have become popular in online education as a way to address the lack of traditional social interaction that is common in on-site education.[3]
