Coldspring-Oakhurst High School is a public high school located in Coldspring, Texas, United States.
History
Coldspring-Oakhurst High School, "Home of the Mighty Trojans"[1] Starting with principal Dr. Elizabeth Jarvis, with assistant principal Ms.Jackson & Mrs.Duff.[2] The school slogan is "Whatever It Takes, We Educate." The school is located in Coldspring, Texas, in the Coldspring-Oakhurst Consolidated Independent School District connected with three other schools: Lincoln Jr. High, James Street Elementary, and Coldspring Intermediate.[3] Programs of study offered include: Agricultural Food & Natural Resources, Arts, AV Technology & Communications, Architecture and Construction, Business Management and Administration, Education and Training, Health Science, Finance, Information Technology, Law, Public Safety, Corrections and Security, and Government & Public Administration.[4]
Athletics
Coldspring_Oakhurst High has a Boys Football Team, Boy's Basketball Team, Boy's Baseball Team, Boys Golf Team, Boys Tennis Team, Girls Golf Team, Girls Tennis Team, Girl's Basketball Team, Girl's Volleyball Team, and Girl's Softball Team.[5] The High School's football team have improved dramatically over the years, moving from 194th in Texas State High School football rankings to top 20 after their winning seasons after Coach Kyle Stewart ('06 Football season) helped get the program back up to winning credentials. The Trojans won 9 of 12 games from the 2012-2013 school year. Coldspring-Oakhurst has made the State championship in 2010 (losing to Carthage 47-22), but that was the only appearance since 1992, losing to SLC 48-0.

Coldspring's Clubs and Organizations[8][9][10] include: NHS, Band, Drill Team, Drama Club, Canine Club, FCA, FBLA, FFA, Floral Design, JROTC, FCCLA, Technology Student Association (TSA), and UIL.
