Biography

Dance career

Waterson performed all over the world as a dancer, as a member of Matthew Bourne's[1] theatre company New Adventures, where he created roles in productions of Swan Lake (London's West End, Los Angeles and Broadway) as well Cinderella (London and Los Angeles), the UK tour of Highland Fling as well as The Car Man and Play Without Words. He also worked with other leading choreographers Ian Spink, Bunty Matthais, Stephen Mear, Mark Baldwin, Janet Smith, Quinny Sacks and Aletta Collins.

Music career

In 2006 he began pursuing a parallel career in music and started making music with the record producer Andy Whitmore.[2] Collaboration with Martin 101 followed, then a club track with Smokin' Jo[3] and Pete Gleadhall (Pet Shop Boys) called "Strip Down (Nude)", and several tracks fronting Ichi Ni San with Harj and Kriss Darang.

Around this time he also co-created the London club-night 'Drama'[4] with Terry Hart. The original club ran for over four years at various venues including Ministry of Sound, The Cross, Browns, The Eve Club, as well as Space in Ibiza. He is currently signed to Ashley Beedle's new record label 'Back To The World' with an album forthcoming.[5]
