Collaborative European Research Conference

The Collaborative European Research Conference (CERC) is an annual event that invites postgraduate students to submit papers and participate in a peer-reviewed event. Authors who have their submissions accepted are invited to attend the event and present their paper. Accepted papers are published by the CERC in both digital and printed format.[1]

The current CERC is co-chaired by Dr Bernhard Humm, Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, Dr Paul Walsh, Cork Institute of Technology, Dr. Ingo Stengel, Plymouth University and Dr. Patrick Bours, University College Gjovig.

History

The first ever Collaborative European Research Conference was the product of a long standing research cooperation between the Institute of Technology Cork, Ireland, and the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt, Germany.[2] Its inaugural year was 2010.

Hosting of the CERC is rotated amongst academic institutions.
