Colorado State University Online (formally named the Division of Continuing Education) is a division of Colorado State University and service provider of online and distance education, as well as face-to-face classes at learning centers along Colorado’s Front Range.

Colorado State University Online offers accredited undergraduate degree programs, accredited graduate degrees, and professional development training and certificate programs.

Colorado State University is regionally accredited by The Higher Learning Commission, a Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCASC).[1]

Admission is not required to take many online courses, as long as students meet the prerequisites. Colorado State University's online courses are approved for the DANTES program for military personnel on active duty.[2]

Most online credit courses are offered with the same the term dates as those of the CSU campus. The CSU Online website lists courses available each term. Each course specifies its delivery method: online, audio conference, video streaming, correspondence, on-campus, or a combination. CSU Online uses Canvas as its online learning platform to conduct all online credit courses.[3]
