Location

The station is in the median of Martin Luther King Jr. Way South between South Alaska and South Edmunds streets. The station is 3 blocks West of the Columbia City business district. The Columbia City Station project includes improvements on South Edmunds St from Martin Luther King Jr. Way to Rainier Ave. South to enhance connections.

Other Transit

There are bus stops located on Martin Luther King Jr. Way South on either side of the station, as well as stops on South Alaska Street, adjacent to the station. The bus stops are served by King County Metro routes 38 and 50.

Route 38 duplicates Central Link's route from Rainier Beach station to Mount Baker station, but has significantly more stops, providing a local infill service.
