COMBIS is an IT service provider in Croatia [1] and among the leading ICT companies in the Adriatic region in the segment of services.[2] In 2014 Combis was the largest IT company in Croatia by revenue excluding distributors and retailers. [3] The company operates as an independent company wholly owned by Hrvatski Telekom, with headquarters based in Zagreb.

History

Founded in 1990 in Dubrovnik, in 2010 COMBIS became a member of T-HT Group, Deutsche Telekom Group, which created a wide range of integrated IT-telecommunications business solutions and services on the market of Croatia. From a small company, COMBIS has developed into a regional company, with daughter companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. COMBIS has more than 380 employees.

Regional and international recognition

Through 25 years of existence Combis received numerous awards, such as the Microsoft Country Partner of the Year 2014,[4] acknowledgment of the US company Microsoft for outstanding performance and high-quality and successful cooperation in Croatia.

At Cisco Systems global partner conference, Combis was recognized as 2013 Partner of the Year[5] for excellence in architecture in the category of complex solutions for service providers. Combis won the prize in competition of 79 countries from the central EMEAR region that includes countries from the territory of Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia.

Also, Combis won the Best Buy Award as the best provider of price to quality ratio of system integration services in Croatia in 2012,[6] according to the Croatian business community.

In 2011, Combis became the first company in Croatia that has achieved the status of gold partner of Citrix, in advanced Cloud technology, virtualization and networking.[7] In the same year Combis won the award Microsoft Solution Sales Partner of the Year in Bosnia and Herzegovina,[8] in recognition of the business achievements of Combis BiH during the year in the implementation of Microsoft technologies.

Combis has received recognition at 2011 European IT Excellence Awards.[9] Combis won the award of internationally renowned magazine IT Europa for the development of 'Overseas Internet Shipping', applications developed for the specific needs of Overseas Trade, Croatian market package delivery.

Availability

COMBIS has eight service locations in Croatia, in Zagreb, Split, Rijeka, Osijek, Zadar, Pula, Varaždin and Dubrovnik. More so, COMBIS is active in the region, with headquarters in Sarajevo and three more service units in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in Banja Luka, Tuzla and Mostar, as well as in Serbia, with headquarters in Belgrade.
