1 Rubin Kazan, Dynamo Kyiv, Pyunik and Bunyodkor were represented by either reserve, youth or other non-main squad.
2 Dnepr Mogilev replaced champions BATE Borisov and runners-up Dinamo Minsk, who refused to participate.
3 Dacia Chişinău replaced champions Sheriff Tiraspol, who refused to participate.
4 HJK Helsinki invited as a replacement for WIT Georgia and other Georgian teams, who refused to participate for political reasons.
5 The team was labeled as Russian Clubs Team, but was essentially a mix of players from Russian U-21 and U-19 national teams.
