Company Caine
Company Caine, also known as Co. Caine and Company Kane, is an Australian progressive rock band of the 1970s. The band was formed in Melbourne in 1970 with members as follows:
- Gulliver Smith (vocals)
- Russell Smith (guitar)
- Jeremy Noone (sax) 1970-71, 1975
- Geoff Burstin (guitar) 1975
- John McInerney (drums) 1971-72, 1975
They inspired Australian musicians and bands as diverse as The Church, The Sports and John Farnham. Smith died in 2014 after a long illness.[1]
