Brazilian Basketball Confederation
Confederação Brasileira de Basketball or BBC is the national confederation of Basketball for the nation of Brazil which belongs to FIBA. The Brazil national basketball team is currently ranked 6 by FIBA. The current president of the BBC is Carlos Boaventura Nunes. There are 720 registered clubs, 36 000 licensed female players, 96 000 licensed male players, and 42 000 unlicensed players. It has been affiliated with FIBA since 1935.
